  • A long cup of rice.
  • 2 cups water and a little salt to cook the rice.

Method of preparation:

I put water, salt the rice to cook, uncovered and simmer.

Prepare according to the cooking time indicated in the rice package or until the water is consumed.

Turn off the heat, cover the rice and let it rest for 10 minutes.

We discover the rice and with the help of two forks we move it so that it is released.

Then I passed the rice through cold water and drained it well.

We have the rice in a salad bowl and we add the drop of olive oil and we mix it well with the rice and we reserve it.

  • A teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

Method of preparation:

Greek pork dish with rice

Ever since I first ate this food, I asked my friend for a recipe because I really liked the combination of pork with oregano and lemon. It is a consistent dish but at the same time light due to the sour taste of lemon. And if you serve it with a Greek yogurt, I'll tell you that there's nothing left on the plate. At least that's what happened to us :)

  • 700g pork pulp (or meat for goulash)
  • 1.5 cups of rice (I used a 200ml cup for the measurement, and basmati and wild rice, preferably to use a long grain rice)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • salt pepper
  • olive oil
